Project 1: Creation of an iMac Music and Media ICT suite
This project was located in Hampstead Garden Suburbs, London NW3. The requirement was to create a modern, safe environment to teach music and ICT.
The project services included the design, manufacture and installation of 20 bespoke student desks, 1 printer unit and 1 teacher’s desk to incorporate the new iMac all in one computers. Custom built roll out trays were added to the underneath of each desk to house the music keyboards. 21 operator chairs were supplied with the school’s embroidered logo. Each individual desk unit has its own double power socket and single Cat5e data outlet fitted below the worktop and contained within 3 compartment trunking.
A new six-way consumer unit was installed with a 10mm SWA cable run from the main distribution board. Network connectivity was provided by a new 4-core fibre optic cable terminated within a new 9U data cabinet with the appropriate hardware to service the room.
Project 2: Creation of a new ICT/media classroom
The requirement was to create an ICT/media classroom
The project services included the design and installation of 33 computer desks, 1 large teachers desks, 1 printer unit, 12U data cabinet, 70 Cat.5e outlets, fibre uplink, 8-way consumer with an armoured run from the main distribution board, 45 double power sockets, 60Mtrs of 3-compartment cable containment, 33 embroidered operator chairs and fitting of 33 computers, TFT monitors, headphones, keyboards and mice.
Project 3: Office Refurbishment
The requirement was to refurbish a number of offices.
The project services included the design and installation of 8 computer desks, 2 office desks, 2 mobile drawer units, 1 double door storage unit, 2 open fronted wall units, 3 floor standing book cases, 15 operator chars (schools logo embroidered) 13 Cat.5e outlets, 2 Cat.5e network links, 2 network switches, 15Mtrs 3-compartment trunking, 14 double power sockets, 6 CAT 2 florescent fittings, 37 square metres of carpet tiles and full redecoration.
